The first 4 days are spent at Wild Rock, Wales — preparing kit, briefings, fitness conditioning, and final mission planning with the cadre. You then deploy for 10 days in South Africa, working directly alongside reserve teams on active conservation operations. The itinerary is flexible and ever-changing due to weather, commitments and need. We have a basic agenda to support, train and outreach local communities.
